Position: Testing & Commissioning – Protection Engineer
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in the testing and commissioning field.
- Preferred: Candidates with experience in Saudi Arabia and those with SEC-CSD approval will be given priority.
Key Responsibilities:
✔ Protection Relay Testing – Expertise in advanced protection relays (Line, Transformer, Busbar) with excellent command of relay software and strong knowledge of electrical principles.
✔ Power Transformer Testing – Conduct testing and commissioning of power transformers.
✔ AIS/GIS Switchgear Testing – Experience with low to extra-high voltage switchgear systems.
✔ Power Cable Testing – Perform necessary electrical tests for power cables.
✔ Control & Protection Panel Checks – Conduct scheme & function checks and make modifications as required.
✔ On-Site Coordination – Work closely with subcontractors, engineers, and designers for relay and control panel testing.
✔ Timely Reporting – Prepare comprehensive test reports for all performed tests.
✔ Safety Compliance – Adhere to all safety standards for working in power plants, substations, and oil & gas stations.
✔ Willingness to Relocate – Must be ready to travel across Saudi Arabia at short notice based on project requirements.
