Job Opportunity: Join National Bank of Pakistan – Risk Management Team
1. Regional Executive-Credit (AVP/VP)
Reporting to: Chief Credit Officer – Credit Risk Management
Educational Qualification:
- Minimum Graduation or equivalent from a recognized institution.
- A Master’s degree and/or certifications like CFA will be preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum 6 years of banking experience, with 3 years in credit processing/approval.
- Experience in commercial, SME, consumer, CAD, Islamic & Agri financing products is preferred.
- Experience in large-scale or public sector banks is a plus.
Key Skills/Expertise:
- Excellent credit risk assessment and financial statement analysis skills.
- Knowledge of credit limits, asset products, and credit limit structuring.
- Knowledge of SBP Prudential Regulations.
- Strong leadership and people management abilities.
2. Credit Analyst (OG-I/AVP)
Reporting to: Senior Credit Officer – Credit Risk Management
Educational Qualification:
- Minimum Graduation or equivalent.
- A Master’s degree or relevant certifications will be preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of banking experience, with 2 years in credit processing.
- Experience in financial statement and credit analysis is required.
- Knowledge of SME, Commercial, and Corporate financing products.
Key Skills/Expertise:
- Strong financial analysis skills.
- Sound knowledge of SBP Prudential Regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and business acumen.
3. Credit Officer (OG-II/OG-I)
Reporting to: Regional Executive Credit – Credit Risk Management
Educational Qualification:
- Graduation (preferably in accounting or finance).
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the credit department of a commercial bank.
Key Skills/Expertise:
- Strong analytical and financial statement analysis skills.
- Knowledge of SME and Commercial lending process and applications.
- Proficient in MS Office and flexible/adaptable.
Key Responsibilities for All Roles:
- Credit proposal approval and recommendation.
- Credit portfolio monitoring and compliance with regulations.
- Ensuring the timely submission of credit returns.
- Performing credit reviews, assessments, and monitoring.
- Liaising with internal/external auditors and ensuring audit compliance.
- Providing support and guidance to branch operations in the region.
Employment Details:
- Contract Type: 3 years (renewable at management discretion).
